J. Stephen Erickson, R.Ph., Owner

J. Stephen Erickson graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Pharmacy in the 1st Quarter System in 1975. He currently serves as the Director of Pharmacy at Cameron Regional Medical Center.

Steve purchased The Drug Store in 1977 and became the Director of Pharmacy at Cameron Regional Medical Center in 1981. He is a member of the Missouri Pharmacy Association and serves on the Board of Directors of PBA Health and the Cameron YMCA.

Steve is married to Clydean (a nurse practitioner). He has six children and 18 grandchildren. Many of them are involved in a medical profession or in farming. His hobbies include all sports, whether playing or coaching, as well as hunting, fishing and his ranch. He and his wife have the incredible fortune to have four of their children and their spouses, and 13 grandchildren live within one mile of them. Most nights are spent in the shop together.

Michaela Curtis, Pharm.D., Pharmacist in Charge

Michaela Curtis holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She’s the pharmacist in charge at The Drug Store and is also a staff pharmacist at Cameron Regional Medical Center. She is a member of the American Pharmacists Association, the Missouri Pharmacy Association and the Alpha Delta chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. Michaela is married to Travis (a teacher) and has four children. She participates in various community service events and her hobbies include Royal’s baseball, traveling and gardening.

Stephen T. Skilling, R.Ph.

Stephen T. Skilling, a.k.a.“Dewey”, originally came from North Central Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1980 and moved to Cameron in 1983. He is a member of St. Munchins Catholic Church, Cameron Elks and the Knights of Columbus. Dewey married Jan (a pharmacy technician at The Drug Store) in 1980 and has four children, two boys and two girls. He enjoys watching most sports, especially Iowa Hawkeye football. His days of slow pitch softball and bird hunting have turned into golfing and fishing.

Theresa Boyd, R.Ph.

Teri Boyd graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Pharmacy and also works at Cameron Regional Medical Center in the pharmacy. Teri is married to Jim and has three children. Her hobbies include going to Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, her children’s sporting events and the farm life.

Damond Erickson graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Pharmacy and also works at Cameron Regional Medical Center in the pharmacy. Damond is married to Kelli (a nurse at Cameron Regional Medical Center) and has two children and two stepchildren. His hobbies include going to his children’s sporting events, slow pitch softball, golfing and the farm.
